POSITION PURPOSE

To support the development & maintenance of various software applications and provide complete software life cycle support for internal and external customers

JOB DUTIES

Software Development

• Works closely with customers to determine project requirements
• Design & development of software from documented requirements and specifications to fulfill customer requirements & specifications
• Identifies and repairs software defects. Conducts unit testing as needed
• Works closely with management & IT Project Manager to establish project timelines & deadlines for project completion
• Provides information/training to internal & external teams on functionality of software

Performs other duties as assigned or required

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIIFICATION:    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems

Recent experience / exposure in the following skills:

• Windows App Development (e.g. WPF, UWP, Win Forms)
• Android App Development (Xamarin)
• Relational Databases (SQL)
• SOAP / Restful Web Services
• GIT Source Control

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving many variables
• Must be able to hear & receive normal conversations and information
• Must have average visual abilities necessary to read a computer screen, documents & manuals
• Must be able to solve and interpret basic math problems including adding, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Must be able to communicate with an advance vocabulary of 8000 to 10,000 words, to read at a moderate rate, write basic sentences and communicate in standard sentences with excellent vocabulary
