About the Job

We are excited to announce that American Logistics is looking to fill an open position for a Trip Services Supervisor! This position is a vital support role to the team manager. We are looking for amazing people who love to lead and be part of a team, can think creatively to solve problems, and enjoy helping other employees find success and satisfaction in their roles. The Trip Services Supervisors are responsible for providing on-going development, training, and assistance to all team members. The position will also require working in tandem with the manager and other supervisors to assist in overseeing all reservation and customer/trip service procedures, supervising the team chat and phone queues, handling escalated customer calls, evaluating agent performance, meeting with agents, and coordinating and supervising break and lunch schedules for team members.

  • As a supervisory position, interested candidates will need to fulfill the following requirements to be considered eligible: 

  • Track record of being reliable with job attendance and punctuality. 

  • A minimum of 1 year supervisory/leadership work experience in a customer service environment. 

  • Next-level customer service skills, with a passion for elevating the customer experience and for helping others do the same.  

  • Integrity, personal accountability, and a mindset that there is always something to learn.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities within the scope of your current role and/or prior roles. 

  • A positive attitude with a strong desire to motivate others and a willingness to promote American Logistics’ team culture. 

  • Self-starter that can identify what needs to be done and tackle it. 

  • Strong multi-tasking and task prioritization abilities. 

  • Availability to work a 40-hour schedule per week, which may include rotating weekends.  

  • Ability to resolve escalated situations (customers, employees, etc.) with patience and thoughtfulness. 

  • In addition to these requirements, consideration will be given for the following skills and attributes: 

  • Bilingual a plus, but not required. 

  • Call center and/or dispatch center background a plus, but not required.
