POSITION PURPOSE
The Rochester Athletic Club is seeking a self-driven individual to work as a full-time 10 & Under Tennis Professional. The main job responsibility is to guide our younger players through red, orange and green ball pathways. The ideal candidate would be task-oriented, proactive, pay close attention to detail, have appropriate communication skill to provide a member first experience. Other expectations include overseeing and participating in tennis tournaments, mixers and other related tennis functions.

- Education/Certification: United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) 10U Teaching Cetification OR Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) 10U Certification and a USTA rating of 3.5 or higher
- Experience Required: A minimum of three (3) years teaching experience, knowledge to build a player from red, orange and green ball level juniors, extensive 10 and under junior tennis teaching experience as well as experience with adult groups and teams.
- Skills/Abilities: Competent oral and written communication, enjoys teaching participants and club members of all ages and levels, works well indepentently, effective communication with co-workers, ability to provide excellent customer service, enthusiastic and outgoing personality, ability to assist, direct and coordinate others, works well on a team and is willing to assist fellow professionals, analytical, creative, problem-solving as well as time management skills.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work nights, wekends and some holidays: including speacial events and tournaments.
