Retail Associate for Gaido's Gift Shop

We are seeking a friendly, customer service oriented Retail Associate for the Gaido's Gift Shop located inside Gaido's Restaurant. You will welcome guests, assist with their questions, and provide a positive customer experirence with friendly, courteous service. This is a great way to meet some of the many visitors to Galveston Island and be a part of our 100+ years of tradition serving our guests.

Job Description:

• Greet & receive customers in a warm & welcoming manner
• Manage financial transactions
• Process payments using a Point of Sale System and maintaining a cash drawer
• Assist with inventory, including receiving & stocking of merchandise
• Assist customers by being familiar with inventory and directing customers to racks & counters
• Respond to customer questions in person and on the telephone
• Maintain records of invoices, purchase orders and other documentation
• Provide outstanding customer service

Job Requirements:

• Well groomed appearance 
• Friendly, respectful and welcoming demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical ability to stand and walk during an entire shift

Gaido's Gift Shop is located inside Gaido's Restaurant and maintains the same business hours as the restaurant, depending on the season.
