Quality Assurance - Stability Technician

QA Stability Technician

Classification

Nonexempt

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This job is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m.

Reports to

Haley Sprague QA Supervisor

 

Primary Tasks

 • Enter analytical data into stability software program

 • Write stability reports, lot specific stability protocols, and base stability protocols

 • Review and approve analytical data

 • Manage stability chamber inventory 

 • Manage stability samples – assign sample numbers, placing on station, pulling and submitting for testing 

 • Manage retain program – inventory and annual inspection

 • Initiate stability studies/canceling stability studies

 • Monitor stability chamber conditions  

 • Stage sample disposal

 • Perform physical tests – weight loss calculations, packaging assessment, etc.

Education/Training/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of experience in a GMP setting. 

 

Physical Demands/Work Environment

This job requires sitting and standing for long periods of time uninterrupted.  This job can also include a large amount of walking throughout the day.  Lifting and reaching above shoulder height and below the waist using proper lifting techniques is required.  Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may also occur.
