Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
- Maintenance Technicians are also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment
- A basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and use of preventative maintenance systems is a must
- Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, monthly safety checks, and make repairs and modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Complete work as assigned to ensure efficient, cost effective and timely repairs to production equipment and manage assigned inventory to acceptable levels
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal customers
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of plant safety rules, safe working methods, and good housekeeping practices

- Ability and willingness to work under pressure to fix equipment
- Ability and willingness to work urgently to get the equipment back up and running
- Ability to troubleshoot issues on a wide variety of equipment
- Ability to conduct repair failures of production and facilities equipment
- Willingness to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
- Ability to apply basic knowledge and then get help to make a repair
- Responding to maintenance calls is part of your job, and this can sometimes mean helping complete a repair that has already been started
- Inspect machines, develop repair lists and identify short-term and long-term repairs so that machines run correctly
- Strong safety focus to minimize risk to yourself and your team
- Customer Service: provide consistent service to team members of all levels
- Flexibility to switch priorities while keeping your cool
- Self-motivation to do your best work without direct supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
- Good verbal/written communication skills

- Must be able to perform all physical duties
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and clean background
