Warehouse Technician (2nd Shift)

Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving

PRIMARY TASKS:

. Shipping & Receiving

· Logging materials into the computer system.

· Completing receiving/shipping documentation and forwarding it to the proper department.

· Labeling and preparing received/shipping material, components, product, and placing such in the appropriate areas.

· Forwarding received items to the proper department/personnel.

· Completing inventory assignments.

SKILLS NEEDED:

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Basic math skills.

· Understanding of the Metric system of weight and measures.

· Ability to recognize and solve problems.

· Computer skills

· Dependable

· Neat and organized.

· Ability to get along with all employees.

· Self-starter

· Works with little supervision.

· Attention to details.

· Be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

· Be able to stand most of the day.

· Operate Forklift

· Drive Bobtail truck (Class C)

Must have a Valid Drivers License

Must have a Clean Driving Record

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• High school diploma / GED
• 1 Year of Equivalent Experience in a Warehouse setting

PHYSICAL DEMAND/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job requires sitting and standing as needed. Walking, primarily on a level surface, periodically throughout the day is also required. Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist and/or lifting may be required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Activities may include occasional lifting up to 50 pounds for files, computer printouts and other mostly office related items.

The performance of this position occasionally requires exposure to manufacturing areas where, under certain circumstances, personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection are mandatory. The primary environment will be ambient room temperature, office lighting and exposure to traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

SHIFT:

• 2nd Shift Only - Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; occasional weekends or OT depending on production
