General Description

  • Scanning Duties: scan all documents given by nurses or providers into appropriate medical record folders of patients’ charts, collect documents from physicians’ boxes daily, scan new patient documents into adobe file, monthly will scan, save and burn CDs of tax records, encounter forms, sign-in sheets, daily reports, and collection reports, end of year will burn CDs for collection reports, hospital charges, and monthly reports, will also clean out any unnecessary files on computer and from “not yet seen” folder that has not been scanned; Other Duties: sort and send all incoming faxes thru Kno2 and Aprima, assist other front office staff as needed, work PPRNet reports and make related phone calls for retention of patients if needed, work insurance reports related to the requisition of new patients, print lab letters for providers and mail to pts with results, weigh and stamp out-going mail daily and place at front desk by 10:00 am every day, place all provider mail in their boxes daily, print 121 forms on daily basis. Will work closely with Marketing Director on any marketing promotions set up, placements or promotional items, etc.  Will attend Health Fairs, Promotional Fairs etc and assist in set up and tear down of any IM&PC property.  Janitorial Duties: keep all bathrooms stocked with paper products, keep bathrooms in working order and clean during business

Work Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge of computers 
  • Self motivated/self starter

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Analytically minded
