Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to work in partnership with the General Manager to provide leadership and motivation to the team and assist in daily operations to maximize employee relations, revenue, profit and service standards.
- Assists GM with recruiting, selection, orientation, scheduling and performance management.
- Assist GM with maintaining proper training for all positions per branding specifications.
- Orders inventory and supplies as necessary under the direction of the GM.
- Understanding financial goals set by the GM and implement practices to help meet goals.
- Complies with company policies, practices and procedures and communicates to all team members.
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining.
- Ensures overall food quality and handling, safety, security and cleanliness are met.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- You know the business. You have 5 plus years of recent fast casual dining experience with 2 years in a leadership role.
- You are a team player. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in to help your team.
- You show passion & commitment and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You have general knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems, and computer operations.
- Your team focused and have a passion for training and developing your team.
- You have strong time management and organization skills.
- You have mathematical abilities enabling you to understand financial reports.
- You understand or will learn Point of Sales systems fully.
- Your coaching, communication and interpersonal skills are extraordinary.
- You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work standing up for extended periods.
- You must be legally able to work in the US; verified by E-Verify.
