About the Job
The Provider Relations team is looking for an Area Coordinator to assist with promoting American Logistics in its best light while working on creating and maintaining relationships with contracted Transportation Providers. This position will work as a liaison between AL and our contracted Transportation Providers, providing guidance, direction, and feedback, while keeping them accountable for meeting all SLA’s, as well as working in collaboration with other AL departments.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

- Create and maintain relationships with Transportation Providers.
- Be the main point of contact for contracted Transportation Providers.
- Monitor different metrics and hold contracted Transportation Providers accountable for meeting such SLA’s, AL App usage, OTP, throwbacks and grievances.
- Have a thorough understanding of each assigned geographic area.
- Travel as needed and meet with Transportation Providers in person.
- Complete induction of newly vetted Transportation Providers.
- Perform monthly field observations.
- Actively participate in all required team meetings.
- Effectively communicate via telephone, email and messaging applications.
- Sit, talk, and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Other duties as assigned based on operational/management needs, with or without prior notice.

Required Education and Experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office, general PC and telephone skills.
- Transportation or logistics, customer service, provider relations.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Organized and able to set and meet deadlines successfully.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience in the human services transportation field.
- Fluent in English and ability to speak and understand Spanish.
