We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Wine Captain to join our team. This position is ideal for a seasoned wine professional who enjoys sharing their knowledge, building relationships with guests, and creating memorable dining experiences through thoughtful wine service and impeccable hospitality.

Wine Captains are an integral part of the dining room and work closely with our service and culinary teams to elevate every guest experience. In addition to guiding guests and providing exception service, Wine Captains assist with tableside carving, flambé dessert presentations, food and beverage running, and supporting the overall flow of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fine dining
• At least 4 years of wine and beverage experience
• Court of Master Sommeliers Level 2 certification (or equivalent) required
• Availability to work nights and weekends required
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time and to sustain a high level of energy and remain composed during service
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to safely and consistently carry full cocktail trays and large oval trays
• Polished demeanor with exceptional tableside presence

Compensation

Average Earnings: $50–$65 per hour, including commissions

Pay Structure:

• $7.00 per hour base rate
• 10.75% commission on direct gross bottle and glass wine sales

• *In the unlikely event the base rate + commissions in a workweek do not meet or exceed the minimum wage, wine captains will be paid at least the minimum wage of $21.30/hour.
