SERVICE CREWMEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION
Bartender
Hiring Unrivaled Bartenders with exceptional bartending skills for our beautiful waterfront location in downtown Seattle.
Job responsibilities will include opening and closing the bar, providing full dining service, maintaining inventory, and completing drink orders in a quick and efficient manner.
Must Have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant as a bartender.
- Has extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, portions, spirits, wine, beer, ales and non-alcohol drinks and garnishes.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Must be available weekends.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance required.
- Able to sustain high energy activities for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Can “work on their feet” for extended periods of time.
- Be able to take ownership of your work and willing to be held accountable for your actions.
- Must have stage presence at all times.
Preferred:
- Minimum 4 years as a bartender in a restaurant of comparable quality of service and volume.
- Familiar with Bar Service Sequence, including timings and merchandising.
- Can carry full cocktail and large oval trays safely & consistently.
Pay: Average $32-42/hour with commissions and tips. ($9-9/hour base rate + 12% commission on direct gross sales and 5% commission on all gross beverage sales less bottle wine).*
*In the unlikely event the base rate + commissions in a workweek do not meet or exceed the
minimum wage, bartenders will be paid at least the minimum wage of $20.76/hour.
