SERVICE CREWMEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION
Expediter
The Expediter is the main communication link between line cooks and servers. They organize and expedite all orders according to the tickets. It is the expediter’s responsibility to prepare the order to go out to the table correctly and to make certain the server is aware food is being delivered to their table. The order is delivered as soon as it is ready, and the expediter should be able to always deliver the order to our guests in a professional manner.
Must Have:
- 3 months as a server assistant in the restaurant, or 6 months of expediting in a restaurant of comparable quality of service and volume.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Can work “on their feet” for extended periods of time.
- Can load and carry large cocktail trays safely & consistently.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Can sustain high energy level for extended periods of time.
- Must be available weekends.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance required.
- Be able to take ownership of your work and willing to be held accountable for your actions.
- Must have stage presence at all times.
Preferred:
- 6 months as a server assistant in the restaurant or 1 year of expediting in a restaurant of
comparable quality of service and volume.
Pay: $25-25/hour
