Serve memorable waterfront dining with fastpaced, polished hospitality. 

  

Elliott’s has been Seattle’s classic seafood house since 1975, serving impeccably fresh Pacific Northwest seafood on the waterfront. We're looking for seasoned servers who enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced and high-volume work environment. Join us in bringing authentic hospitality to the waterfront—one table, one service, one guest at a time. 

What You'll Do 

  • Guide the guest experience from seating to farewell, and manage coursing, pacing, and ticket timing in coordination with the expo line. 

  • Deliver high-volume service with consistent execution and careful attention to detail. 

  • Demonstrate product knowledge by explaining oyster varieties, recommending spirit and wine pairings, and highlighting sustainability practices. 

  • Coordinate with the bar to support pairings and work with support staff to maintain seamless floor flow during peak periods. 

  • Collaborate effectively with a strong, supportive service team to ensure smooth service. 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment throughout the shift. 

What You Bring 

Must Haves 

  • 2+ years in a fine dining restaurant of comparable quality of service and volume.  

  • Polished steps of service, strong table management, and poised guest recovery. 

  • Deep WA wine, local beer, spirits, and PNW seafood and shellfish knowledge (or the hunger to master it). 

  • Ability to maintain composure and efficiency while multitasking. 

  • Weekend availability and reliable, consistent attendance. 

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods (reasonable accommodations available). 

Preferred 

  • 3+ years of beverage experience and fine dining of comparable quality. 

  • Flexibility to work lunch and dinner service. 

  • Strong tray carrying skills (cocktail and oval trays).  

Pay & Compensation 

 

Average $35-$50/per hour, including commission. 

  • $7/hr. base rate + 12% on commission on individual gross sales before discounts or promotions applied. 

  • If base + commissions do not meet Seattle minimum wage for the workweek, servers are paid at least $21.30/hr.
