**Job Summary:**

As a Host at Davenport's Pizza Palace, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a warm and inviting welcome, manage seating arrangements, and ensure a positive dining experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive with a friendly demeanor.

- Manage the host stand, including answering phones, taking reservations, and maintaining an accurate waitlist.

- Escort guests to their tables while providing menus and information about daily specials.

- Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to manage the flow of guests and maintain an efficient seating process.

- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously.

- Assist with special events, parties, and large group bookings.

- Uphold the restaurant's policies, procedures, and standards for service and safety.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a customer service or hosting role is a plus but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

- Friendly, positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
