**Job Summary:**

As a Host at Davenport's Pizza Palace, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will play a crucial role in setting the tone for the dining experience by providing a warm welcome, efficiently managing table assignments, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests in the restaurant. Your excellent customer service skills and friendly demeanor will help create a positive environment that keeps our customers returning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive with a friendly and positive attitude.

- Manage the waiting list and seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover.

- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.

- Answer phones promptly and take reservations or manage takeout orders as needed.

- Provide guests with information about menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies.

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.

- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

- Comply with health and safety regulations and ensure a safe dining environment.

- Assist with special events or promotions as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods.
