Maintenance/Landscaper – Crow’s Nest Cabins

Job Summary: 

Crow’s Nest Cabins is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and guest-oriented Maintenance/Landscaper to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our property remains clean, functional, safe, and visually appealing for every guest. As part of the operations team, you will maintain cabins, equipment, outdoor areas, and public spaces while providing friendly guest interactions when needed. 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. 

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

  • Acknowledge and warmly greet guests when encountering them around the property. 

  • Review daily work orders, priorities, and maintenance needs for cabins and public spaces. 

  • Inspect and maintain landscaping areas, including pathways, outdoor seating, garden beds, and general grounds. 

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, light carpentry, fixture replacements, and equipment checks. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor and public areas, including sweeping, debris removal, and upkeep of walkways. 

  • Assist with cabin upkeep by supporting housekeeping and operational teams when necessary. 

  • Ensure all tasks are completed to company quality standards within established time frames. 

  • Follow all resort safety guidelines, procedures, and equipment-use protocols. 

  • Pick up ground litter or visible debris around the property to maintain a clean and inviting environment for guests. 

  • Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. 

Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

  • Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a related field preferred. 

  • Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and general facility maintenance. 

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently. 

  • Good communication skills and a positive, guest-oriented attitude. 

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed. 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
