**Job Summary:**
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth dining experience. You will be responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. Your excellent communication skills and positive attitude will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and outstanding guest satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list.
- Seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, considering their preferences and the overall workflow of the restaurant.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure effective communication and service flow.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs promptly.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house areas.
- Handle phone calls regarding reservations, take-out orders, and general inquiries.
- Support the team during busy service periods by assisting with side duties as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
