**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth operation in our kitchen. This role is crucial for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent dining experiences for our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing equipment and hand washing methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in their proper places.
- Assist in the kitchen when needed, including food preparation and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
- Properly handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
