As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dining area. You will work closely with our waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include clearing and resetting tables, assisting in food delivery, and maintaining a clean environment throughout the restaurant.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors, tables, and condiments.
- Help replenish supplies (e.g., utensils, napkins) as needed.
- Support servers with carrying trays and running food or drinks as needed.
- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as required.
- Ensure that all service areas are stocked with necessary items (e.g., glassware, utensils).
- Respond to guest needs and requests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Follow health and safety standards at all times to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and carrying items like trays, boxes, etc.
- Quick and efficient movement to ensure timely service during busy periods.
