Bread Zeppelin General Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Position Overview: The General Manager is responsible for all functions related to the business within their assigned location, showing “100% Ownership” is all day to day operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
- Manages the store’s P&L and assumes all financial responsibilities for the work location including but not limited to:
- Sales
- Food Cost Control, Labor Control and Controllable Expenses
- Hiring, Training and Coaching Team Members
- Ordering, Invoices, Cash Handing and Back office Administration.
- Maintains and operates a safe and clean establishment by following all procedures and standards set forth by Bread Zeppelin and the local Health Department.
- Provides top quality customer service and follows through on any promises made to customers.
- Works the line along with staff to ensure a “100%” shift execution.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with executive management, employees and customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must have Serv-Safe certification
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work at least 50 hours per week on their feet.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
