Qualifications
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service principles and steps of service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have an interest in developing a broader knowledge of food, beer, wine, and spirits offerings
- Valid Washington State Alcohol Server Permit
- Current WA Food Workers Card
ESR does not believe a heavy reliance on traditional gratuities is an equitable or modern way to compensate employees. Accordingly, ESR pays its hourly employees an equitable and agreed-upon hourly rate. While not expected, any gratuities that are left are split amongst hourly employees. To help ensure its best-in-class customer experience and ability to remain competitive, ESR adds a 22% service charge to all checks. Those service charges are retained (100%) by the house.
