Plumbing Commercial Techs

Job Responsibilities:

Plumber will be responsible for installing new and replacement plumbing systems and providing excellent customer service to commercial plumbing customers. - Plumber will be expected to work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the Plumbing trade, including but not limited to:

Digging, installing, testing and backfilling underground sanitary and grease piping.

Rough-in of new drain, waste and vent (DWV) and domestic water piping. o Installation of roof drains and storm drainage piping. o Threading, installation and testing of building gas piping. o Installation of a variety of plumbing fixtures and trim such as water closets, urinals, lavatories, sinks, drinking fountains, etc. o Installation of plumbing specific equipment such as water heaters, storage tanks, recirculation pumps, tankless water heaters, sump pumps and water filtration systems. o Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls and programming.

Plumbers are paid a competitive hourly wage based on their skills and work experience (Dependent upon experience)

Qualifications

• Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices, including pipe threading and installation.
• Plumber will be expected to perform physical activities and occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Plumber will interface with customers in their homes and places of work and therefore must maintain an acceptable appearance and manners.
• Plumber will be expected to be present and on-time for scheduled work days and times.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools relevant to plumbing and construction.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and blueprint reading.
• Collaborates effectively with team members to interpret project plans, comprehend workflow, and ensure timely delivery.
• Prior experience managing a team and meeting deadlines is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
• Experience in carpentry and field service is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
