Dave's Hot Chicken is a rapidly expanding new concept serving Nashville Style Hot Chicken. As a locally owned franchise we are excited to be introducing this extremely successful concept to Michigan.  Our 9th location is opening this spring. Growth potential is unlimited as we expand to 22 locations throughout Michigan and Northwestern Ohio within the next 5 - 6 years.

 

Locations: Dearborn, Howell, Troy, Warren, Southfield, East Lansing, Shelby Twp and Toledo

 

Starting Wage: $15.00 per hour + Tips (est. $2 per hour*)

   *Tips are based on historical data. These are not guaranteed; they may vary and are in addition to the hourly wage.

 

Full-Time and/or Part-Time available

POSITION SUMMARY

The Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness of all DHC smallwares, equipment and dish area.   

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Team Member will work productively in a fast-paced environment, maintain a fast speed of service, interact with Guests, work closely with other Team Members to complete tasks, follow all safety and security procedures, and conduct other duties assigned by the Restaurant Management Team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DAVE'S HOT CHICKEN TEAM MEMBER

 • Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions

 • Work together with other Teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements

 • Use specific kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, etc.

 • Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing/sanitizing/disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms

 • Handle Guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly resulting in a “blow their minds” experience and keeping them a fan

 

MUST HAVES

 • Must be at least 18 years old

 • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts

 • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment, bend and stoop, and to lift 50 - 75 lbs. comfortably

 • Be able to work in close quarters and around heat

 • Positive attitude while performing all duties

 • Have a commitment to Guest satisfaction

 • Effective communicator with Teammates and the Restaurant Management Team

 • Have reliable transportation to get to work

 • Have a telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the Restaurant Management Team and Teammates
