Overview:
Harley-Davidson of Washington, D.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business / Finance & Insurance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our financial services operations while ensuring compliance with all regulations and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and insurance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for the Harley-Davidson brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Management: Oversee all financial operations including sales, profitability, financing options, and insurance services. Collaborate with sales teams to implement financial strategies that enhance customer experiences and drive sales growth.
- Insurance Services: Manage the Finance & Insurance (F&I) department, ensuring that all products and services comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide insights and recommendations on new insurance products and services to enhance offerings.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with customers, guiding them through financial products while providing transparent and detailed financial solutions. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Training & Development: Train and mentor sales staff on finance and insurance processes, ensuring they understand and are equipped to present financing options to customers. Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on new products and compliance requirements.
- Compliance & Reporting: Monitor compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring proper documentation and contract processing. Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing actionable insights to senior management regarding trends and opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, dealership management, and external partners to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Participate in dealership events and promotional activities to enhance financial products awareness.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CFP, F&I compliance training, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, insurance, or automotive F&I management.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulations within the automotive industry.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and develop strong relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and dealership management software.
