**Job Summary:**

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high standard of customer service, sales performance, and store presentation. You will play a key role in leading the team, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining a positive work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in retail management.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, including sales, inventory management, and merchandising.

- Lead, motivate, and develop store associates to create a high-performing team focused on customer satisfaction and sales goals.

- Ensure excellent customer service by training staff on effective selling techniques and maintaining high service standards.

- Help with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to meet targets.

- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering, and loss prevention practices.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

- Assist in visual merchandising and promotional displays to enhance the customer shopping experience.

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.

- Participate in regular store meetings and provide feedback on staff performance and store operations.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

- Previous experience in retail management or a supervisory role is preferred.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
