ABOUT THE INSPIRED COMMUNITY PROJECT
At The Inspired Community Project (TICP), we are reimagining early childhood education and intervention through equity, inclusion, and community-centered care.
Based in the Bronx, TICP provides inclusive services for neurodivergent and neurotypical children and their families through Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE programming, multidisciplinary evaluations, special education, and related therapeutic services.
Our work is rooted in the belief that children and families deserve access to high-quality, culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming services within their own communities. We approach our work collaboratively, recognizing that meaningful outcomes happen when families, educators, clinicians, and community partners work together.
THE ROLE
The CPSE Evaluation Compliance & Quality Assurance Specialist supports TICP’s Multidisciplinary Evaluation (MDE) program by helping ensure that evaluation records are accurate, complete, clinically sound, consistent, and ready for use in the CPSE process.
This role serves as an important quality checkpoint between individual evaluations and the final documentation used to support educational planning. The Specialist reviews information across multiple disciplines, identifies gaps or inconsistencies, integrates findings into required documentation, and collaborates with evaluators and TICP team members to resolve outstanding concerns.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, understands the preschool special education evaluation process, and can look at a child's evaluation record as a whole—not simply as a collection of individual reports.
At TICP, quality assurance is not just about checking boxes. It is about ensuring that the documentation accurately tells the story of the child, reflects the family's concerns and priorities, supports appropriate educational planning, and meets applicable program and regulatory requirements.

- Review documentation for alignment with applicable CPSE requirements, TICP policies and procedures, and professional documentation standards.

- Track recurring documentation concerns and communicate trends that may indicate a need for additional evaluator guidance, training, or process improvement.
- Support internal quality assurance reviews and preparation for audits or monitoring activities, as needed.
- Help strengthen consistent documentation practices across TICP's multidisciplinary evaluation team.
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate professionally, clearly, and promptly with evaluators, administrative staff, and program leadership regarding documentation questions or concerns.
- Provide constructive and specific feedback when information is incomplete, unclear, inconsistent, or requires correction.
