Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Supervisor

Reports to: Education Director & Director of Human Resources

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Direct Therapy & Oversight

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to children ages 2–5 through:
  • Early Intervention (EI)
  • Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE)
  • Committee on Special Education (CSE)
  • DOE RSA service
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress aligned with IFSP and IEP goals

Supervision & Team Leadership

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to SLP CFs and SLPA team members
• Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Lead team meetings, reflective supervision sessions, and case consultations
• Provide onboarding support and ongoing development for SLP team members

Collaboration Across Teams

• Partner with Occupational Therapists, Behavioral Therapists, and Classroom Teachers to ensure holistic, family-centered care
• Offer input on interdisciplinary plans and classroom integration strategies
• Support communication access in classrooms by guiding visual supports, AAC tools, and staff training

Quality Assurance & Innovation

• Participate in internal audits and quality reviews
• Help implement research-backed practices and contribute to future pilot programs and publications

• Foster a collaborative culture of curiosity, feedback, and growth

   

Requirements

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York State (required).
• TSSLD certification required for billing and service delivery in CPSE/CSE/DOE programs.
• CCC from ASHA
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

• 3–5 years of experience with early childhood and elementary-aged children (supervisory experience preferred).

   

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Clinical Fellows (CFs) is a PLUS
• Feeding Therapy Certification a PLUS - we will support your endeavors to become certified, if desired.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) a PLUS - role will involve communicating with Spanish-speaking families. 
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to mentor, inspire, and create a positive team environment.

   

Schedule 

• While this is ideally a full-time role, we offer flexibility in how your schedule is structured.

Pay Rate & Benefits

SALARY & TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGES:

• Base Salary (No Benefits Selected): $80,000 – $90,000 annually
• Estimated Total Compensation with Medical Coverage Only: $87,500-$97,500 annually

• PTO: Total 6 weeks [31 days]
• Discretionary PTO Days: [10 Days - can roll over] 2 weeks PTO per calendar year.
