Job purpose
The Inspired Community Project (TICP) is seeking a dedicated and organized Education Administration (EdAdmin) professional to support our educational team in delivering high-quality early childhood education. This full-time, on-site role is essential in ensuring that the learning environment is well-prepared, visually engaging, and resource-rich to meet the needs of students and teachers alike. The EdAdmin will manage visual aids, craft supplies, and toys, enabling educators to focus on their core mission of nurturing and educating young children.
In line with TICP’s mission to advance equity and access, this role will contribute to creating an inclusive, hands-on learning environment where every child has the resources they need to thrive. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting both staff and students.
Duties and responsibilities
- Visual Materials and Aids:
- Prepare and maintain visual materials that align with lesson plans and curriculum objectives.
- Ensure timely availability of visual aids for teachers and create new classroom visuals as requested.
- Craft Projects:
- Procure, organize, and distribute materials for craft projects, ensuring that all classrooms are well-stocked for upcoming activities.
- Assist teachers with setting up, facilitating, and cleaning up craft activities.
- Provide guidance to students during craft sessions to enhance engagement and creativity.
- Toy Rotations & Themes:
- Develop and maintain a system for toy rotations that aligns with curriculum themes, ensuring a dynamic and engaging selection for students.
- Coordinate with teachers to match toys and materials to learning objectives, creating an enriched play-based learning environment.
- Craft Material Distribution:
- Take responsibility for the inventory and distribution of craft supplies across classrooms, ensuring that materials are always available for educational activities.
- Monitor and track the usage of materials to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; some college coursework in education or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in educational support, administration, or related roles preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Google Drive)
- Experience with Canva is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Position Details
- Position: Full-time position, 40 hours per week. On-Site
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
- Salary: $60,000 annually
