Are you a culinary pro who loves the "hospitality" side of cooking but is tired of the grueling late-night restaurant grind? At Kosmo Machine Inc., we believe our team performs their best when they’re well-fed. We’re looking for a talented Culinary Specialist to take ownership of our kitchen and provide high-quality daily lunches for our hardworking crew.

Compensation
 

• Range from $20 to $24 per hour; non-exempt FLSA class, or $31,200 to $37,440 based on 30 hours per week; annual salary will vary.

• The "Sweet Spot" Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 2:30 pm. No nights, no weekends, and a consistent 25–30 hours per week.
• Creative Freedom: You’re the captain of the kitchen. You’ll plan the menus and manage the inventory for a group of 50–55 appreciative employees.
• Great Pay: Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 – $24.00/hr.

Your Mission
 

• Craft Great Meals: Plan and prepare delicious, high-quality daily lunches that our team looks forward to.
• Own the Kitchen: Manage food and supply inventory, ensure cost control, and keep the cafeteria environment sparkling clean and organized.
• Safety First: Maintain rigorous food safety standards (ServSafe style) including proper storage, dating, and handling.
• Build Community: Your food is the fuel for our team-building and daily operations—you are a vital part of our company culture!
   

What You Bring to the Table
 

• Professional Experience: You’ve spent time in a professional kitchen and know how to scale recipes for 50+ people.
• Food Safety Expertise: You have a proven track record of cleanliness; a ServSafe Certification is a big plus.
• Reliability: You’re organized, punctual, and take pride in your workspace.
• Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship, a valid VA Driver’s License (good driving record), and the ability to pass a background check/drug screen (including marijuana) are required.
