Kosmo Machine, a premier precision and climate-controlled contract manufacturer machine shop, specializing in CNC milling and turning, EDM machining, custom welding processes, and critical component reconditioning, is looking for a full-time Custodial Support team member who takes pride in keeping things clean and organized. Compensation
 

• Start at $18; range from $18 to $22 per hour; non-exempt FLSA class, or $37,440 to $45,760 annually. 
   

Qualifications
 

• Previous cleaning and janitorial experience preferred, along with forklift and manufacturing experiencing preferred.
• Ability to safely operate floor cleaner and other powered machines.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance.
   

Responsibilities
 

• Exhibit a dedication and passion for cleanliness.
• Experience in various custodial and kitchen duties, including but not limited to:
  • Maintain cafeteria and kitchen equipment cleanliness, clean dishes using commercial grade dishwasher, stock employee vending machines as needed, maintain stock levels of cups, lids, straws, napkins, etc., and clean up after employee breaks and/or lunch.
  • Sweep, mop, and Zamboni shop and cafe floors, empty trash and recycling, clean bathrooms and wash areas as needed.
  • Dump machine hoppers, operate Zamboni Floor Scrubber, and wipe down machines.
  • Assist with the delivery and pick up of parts, and packing parts for shipment as needed. 
     
     

Work Schedule
 

• Monday through Friday - 7 to 3:30 pm or 7:30 to 4 pm. 
   

Eligibility Requirements
 

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug test (to include marijuana), and provide updated copy of Motor Vehicle Report with a valid VA Driver's License and good driving record with no major violations.
