Headquarters
Purpose: Volunteers serve in a variety of different roles and capacities depending on the specific project at hand.
The Facilities Maintenance Volunteer: Provides skilled upkeep to Cadence-owned homes and properties, from basic improvements to more extensive projects. They travel to ministry locations in the U.S. and overseas for up to six weeks at a time, working in coordination with Field Leaders and Ministry Directors.
The Ministry Support Volunteer: Provides help with a variety of opportunities. They may assistmissionaries with childcare, running a VBS or retreat, cooking, cleaning, or organizing. They travel to ministry locations in the U.S. and overseas with length of service ranging from one week to one year, working in coordination with Field Leaders and Ministry Directors.
The Headquarters Volunteer: Aids Cadence staff by supporting their ministries through administrative functions at our Headquarters in Englewood, Colorado, in the following departments: Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Communications, and Operations.
Note: Cadence International is a support-based mission. All volunteers are self-funded and responsible for their travel and living expenses. Depending upon the volunteer assignment, funds may be raised to cover room, board, or ministry expenses. Travel costs may be considered for reimbursement, upon discussion and specific to the situation.
Hours: Regular or occasional part-time work at Headquarters, or 30+ hours per week during intermittent maintenance or support assignments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with headquarters, ministry team, or maintenance team to complete duties determined by the relevant HQ supervisor or Field Facility Lead. Volunteer Assignments will be based on the Cadence’s needs and the volunteer’s area of interest.
