Description: Hours: 10+ per week
Purpose:
This vital role aims to help Cadence International fulfill its mission and vision by working with the Director of Mobilization and other team members to implement and oversee Cadence’s online mobilization presence through various marketing channels. The Cadence Digital Mobilizer will network and enhance Cadence’s online presence to connect with individuals who desire to reach military members and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Mobilization (DoM) and the mobilization team to develop and implement new recruiting and mobilization lanes online.
- Work with the DoM to create content and keep Job Boards and online marketing subscriptions up to date.
- Follow up with individuals who have expressed interest in Cadence International's ministry through our job board postings, social media, and other advertising mediums.
- Collaborate and network with mobilizers from other ministries to share ideas, tools, and methods for recruiting that may be mutually beneficial.
- Seek to understand current online trends that may impact Cadence's recruiting strategies and provide the DoM and Mobilization Team with helpful ideas or changes to mobilize qualified missionary candidates effectively.
- Able to participate in Mobilization Team calls on occasion when requested and available.
- Work with the DoM, Mobilization, and Communications Teams on future promotional materials.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Born again with a mature Christ-centered Faith
- Understands the unique characteristics of the current generation and seeks to creatively engage with them about how God can use them to impact the world
- Has personal experience with Cadence
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and listening
- The ability to meet new people and build relational rapport
- An ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills, utilizing Microsoft Office, and can work with web-based platforms.
- An ability to perform well and meet deadlines
- Able to travel occasionally to schools or conferences
- Able to embrace new technology and software designed to enhance effectiveness
